The position
By joining our team in CFO you will have the opportunity to:

Join Equinor’s Treasury organisation as part of the Payments and Internal bank team, and enjoy a role with a varied and rotating set of responsibilities including:

  • Processing of internal and external payments for all subsidiaries in Equinor.
  • Daily reconciliation of all external bank accounts for the global Equinor organisation.
  • Providing support to end users and stakeholders in the business.
  • Follow up of bank relations.
  • Carrying out internal bank operations
  • Contributing to cash management improvements and projects.

As part of the role, you will take part in a shift plan, where approximately every five weeks there is one work week with working hours from 14:00-21:00 CET. All other weeks the working hours are normal working hours. Certain Norwegian public holidays are working days for some members of PIB, to be able to process and deliver on our global payment responsibility. This is compensated through Equinor’s shift and overtime compensation rules.
The Payments and Internal Bank team is a center of experts on payment processes, cash forecasting and inhouse cash processes for the Equinor group. We are responsible for executing and following up all payments for the organisation and in 2023 processesd over 600,000 payments of a total value of USD 771 billion!

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, administration or another relevant subject.
  • Previous experience from a banking, finance or treasury background would be an advantage.
  • Digital experience, in particular from use of SAP and Office 365 applications.
  • Risk and compliance awareness and ability to identify and manage risk
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and with others to deliver results in an at times hectic workday.
  • The flexibility and willingness to work from 14:00-21:00 CET for a week approximately every five weeks.
