Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Cash Management Consultant of the Cash Team will be responsible for managing the company’s bank accounts, cash accounting, cash balance and overall cash position. This includes ensuring all cash flows are properly accounted, all payout obligations are properly funded, and excess cash is communicated to the respective investment manager. The position is responsible for helping safeguard all cash transactions by maintaining strong process controls.
As a Cash Management Consultant you will work with all areas of the company, experiencing and supporting all of the cash flows, from the time revenue is coming into the company all the way through to the supporting investments. The person in this position will report directly to the Head of Cash Management.

THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in business, economics, accounting, finance or related field
  • 3 years of relevant cash management experience

THE IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • CTP preferred
  • Experience with bank relationships and offerings as well as various banking operations best practices, tools and technology
  • Previous experience with cash accounting processes
  • Familiarity with cash/bank management systems, Treasury Management Systems (TMS)
  • Ability to proactively take ownership of projects and drive them through to completion.
  • Ability to work with all level of personnel, staff, management and influence decision making
  • Multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt to change
  • Experience in best-in-class control execution/documentation
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to monitor key controls to mitigate risk
  • Analytical skills with particular attention to details
