We have flexible shift opportunities at our Llantrisant Dialysis Unit for nurses with current NMC Registration and dialysis experience.
Llantrisant Dialysis Unit is a dynamic 21 station unit providing haemodialysis treatment for 84 patients in partnership with the NHS Trust. The unit operates safe staffing with a protected 3:1 patient to nurse ratio.

As a Casual Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment whilst achieving work-life balance! Comprehensive inhouse training will be provided on B Braun dialysis machines, policies, and practice.

  • To provide a high quality standard of patient care
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care needs of patients both pre and post dialysis
  • Monitoring and recording patients’ vital signs
  • Develop and expand theoretical knowledge and practical skills involved in the care of dialysis patients
  • Promote and maintain professional relationships with patients and colleagues, including the multi-disciplinary team
  • To work within our Policies and Procedures and adhere to the Quality Manual and Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines
  • Excellent rates of pay: £25 per hour Weekdays & £30 per hour Weekends/Bank Holidays

  • Long Day = 06:30 – 18:00
  • Monday to Saturday, No Sunday or night shifts
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references, Occupational Health Check, Negative Hepatitis B Antigen Status and Eligibility to Work in the UK
