DESCRIPTION
Calderdale College is looking for an experienced individual who can support the curriculum delivery of the Science and Animal Care courses with specific responsibility for the well-being, general care and health of a variety of species of animals.
The appointed candidate will also be responsible for the preparation of science lessons/exams & tasks. You will work in association with teaching staff to provide the technical back up required supporting teaching and learning activity with particular reference to servicing science practical assessments and tasks within the faculty.
Key qualities sought are
- An eye for detail and absolute accuracy
- Very strong understanding of Health & Safety and hygiene
- An evident ‘positive’ and ‘can do’ attitude
- Experience of working with a variety of animals.
- You must have high level of communication and interpersonal skills
