Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

United Safety is seeking to fill several Vehicle Operator positions for casual project-based work for our spring turnaround season starting mid-April 2024. This position will involve driving equipment to site, around site as well as loading and unloading the trucks and their contents. Some of the projects will entail camp stays or hotel stays. Experience is a requirement, and you should be comfortable pulling up to 40ft trailer loads. This position would potentially be well suited to persons that are retired, of Veteran status, or looking for casual seasonal work.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Over 18 and legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract (class 3 or class 1 preferred but not required)
  • 5 – 10 Years Experience hauling trailers
  • Must have the ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol and fitness (PDA) testing.
  • H2S, CSO, Standard First Aid are required (Assistance may be an option for ticket renewal if tickets are out of date)
  • Ability to attend our Driver and Heavy Haul Training

Responsibilities:

  • Driving Trucks, Towing Trailer – up to 40ft long
  • Delivering equipment to site and around site (Oil & Gas Industrial sites)
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 75lbs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
