AON IS LOOKING FOR A MULTI-LINE CASUALTY CLAIMS CONSULTANT

We currently have a great career opportunity for a Claims Consultant. It is the responsibility of the Claims Consultant to deliver tactical, client specific, casualty claims services on assigned accounts in support of Aon’s core brokerage services.
Work Style: Virtual - work from home.

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience with P&C claims and litigated claims.
  • Well-versed in consulting on claims to include high-dollar settlement negotiations, litigation strategy, and MSAs.
  • Experience as a Claims Account Executive a Plus
  • Multi Lines Claims a Plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop appropriate Client Promise Service Plans as outlined in the corresponding service package in conjunction with Account Executive and with input from the client.
  • Manage time spent in the delivery of agreed client services to ensure content quality, timely delivery, and profitability.
  • Meet or exceed assigned billable hours and utilization goals.
  • Communicate and collaborate with manager and Account Executives to identify opportunities for new business development.
    Establish rapport and maintain positive working relationship with clients and colleagues.

Adhere to established Best Practices and make recommendations for improvement, when appropriate.

  • Maintain knowledge/skills as an insurance professional and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide advocacy on behalf of assigned clients relating to services rendered by carriers and/or TPAs to include the review and revision of account instructions, addressing client service concerns and negotiating applicable renewal pricing and terms.
  • Participate in telephonic or in-person claim reviews designed to result in file resolution, inclusive of documenting claim specific outcomes and action plans.
  • Attend and participate in periodic on-site client meetings regarding service delivery and/or stewardship.

Utilize standard deliverable products and a specific “Peer Review” process to ensure consistency of services.
The individual in this position should be a proven performer with strong technical knowledge and work experience adjusting or managing claims or possess multi-line claims experience with emphasis on property and casualty lines of coverage.
