JOB DESCRIPTION
Your role
- You lead, mentor and develop regional multifunctional teams and collaborate with the Global Co-Manufacturing team
- You define and implement contract manufacturing sourcing strategy, manage risk and maximize current/future market conditions to ensure critical supply requirements are met
- You build and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers
- You develop an annual plan based on organizational goals and your market knowledge
- You negotiate category sourcing activities, strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract management
- You contribute to the streamlining of the S2P process, by ensuring consistency and sharing of best practices between companies
- You proactively engage internal stakeholders to align goals, collaboratively develop strategies, and communicate market and sourcing information
- You have budgetary responsibility for all expenses related to co-manufacturing
Your profile
- You have a degree/training in the field of supply chain management, operations, economics, mechanical engineering or similar
- You ideally have several years of professional experience in purchasing/supply chain management
- You are a team player and have strong interpersonal skills
- You have strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial analysis
- You have a global awareness of culture, currencies, geography, politics, etc.
- You provide customer-oriented solutions with good negotiation skills
- You can easily communicate in German and English (written and spoken)
- You are familiar with several source-to-pay systems (e.g. COUPA) and ERP software (SAP)
- You have experience in LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma and/or Project Management
- You have a valid European work permit
