Category Manager, Marketing & Retail
Our purchasing team, based in Gothenburg and Barcelona, manages all sourcing and procurement for Lynk & Co in Europe. We work closely with various business teams and play a key role in the company’s growth and profitability. We are now looking for an experienced Category Manager to lead our Marketing & Retail category team.
The role is based in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Collaborate and communicate proactively with managers at all levels to secure early involvement and influence business for cost reductions and improvements
Ensure efficient and updated sourcing and activity plans are in place, supporting buyers with planning and prioritizing when necessary
Lead complex and strategic sourcing projects and contract negotiations within categories
Stay updated on supplier information, trends, cost/value drivers, and internal business drivers to develop optimal sourcing strategies, business models, and contracts, and perform effective negotiations
Develop agreement structures and templates for categories in collaboration with the Lynk & Co legal team
Document and communicate category processes, such as buying guides and templates, to enable efficient and high-quality sourcing operations
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the purchasing function, including new tools, templates, and processes, ensuring compliance with policies
Lead and coordinate the team of buyers, ensuring work planning and support to achieve set objectives
Manage category responsibilities, including marketing, PR and communications, retail development, and facilities
Be prepared to handle various tasks, from strategic to operational, supporting areas beyond your regular responsibilities in a small and agile team
