ADI Global Distribution, now have the opportunity for a Product Category Manager to join our team based in Chadderton, Oldham. The focus for this role is to drive the strategy, roadmap, strategic supplier relationships, growth, and profitability for a fast-growing category of Intrusion products.
This role will develop and execute product mix and pricing models, while identifying, initiating, cultivating, and managing supplier relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate that understands the UK Security market, its competitive landscape and can translate business strategy into sales growth.

• Creating strategic plans for the Intrusion product category, including growth and promotional programs to achieve budget objectives.
• Managing end-to-end vendor relationships, including identification, contract negotiation, product assortment, marketing programs, and communications.
• Growing the product category profitably in line with gross margin targets, while adhering to working capital and IOS (Inactive, Obsolete, Surplus) requirements.
• Work with ADI EMEA leadership team by clearly communicating new opportunities, new products or suppliers and resolve transactional issues as needed.
• Work with your supplier partners, ADI’s marketing, sales and procurement teams to ensure effective product marketing and sales drive of your product category.
• Developing and executing on product mix, inventory, and pricing strategies based on historical data, industry trends and customer buying patterns.Be the product leader and SME assisting with the implementation of new ERP system.
