Description:
Take the opportunity to join Nilfisk as our new Category Manager for Rotational moulding, where you will manage the negotiating and designing of supplier contracts in your category in EMEA-APAC region. You will be the driver of defining future supplier concepts in our global organization, work across cultures, and influence future sourcing strategies in your territory.
You will be part of the international Global Sourcing team reporting to the Senior Category Manager. You will be based in Szigetszentmiklós or Nagykanizsa.
Your key areas of responsibility include:
- The Category Manager has an overall responsibility to create, maintain, and improve the competitiveness of strategic, tactical and tail end suppliers for Production Companies and Distribution centers
- Continuously monitor and develop Quality, Delivery, and Cost performance of the supply base combined with best in industry financial performance (Saving, Working Capital, Payment terms, Inventory values, Risk).
- Cover the spend with planning and leading the executions of contract management
- Develop medium-long term Category Strategies to best support Nilfisk Strategies and leading the execution accordingly
- Proactively search for sustainable materials and new technology solutions, share and discuss them with R&D, Product Management and EMEA-APAC organization.
- Build and maintain a strong Pipeline that includes Negotiation, Resourcing, Optimisation and VAVE elements.
- The Category Manager and Sourcing Project Manager is working in a close daily cooperation to execute the Pipeline and to support NSD (New Solution Development) in which the CM is responsible for the Negotiation/Optimisation (mainly commercial) execution meanwhile the PM of the Resourcing/VAVE (more technology involved) project execution and coordination.

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or similar. You have several years of relevant experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain management. You speak and write fluent Hungarian and English at a high level and you have great analytical skills and master Excel at a high level.
Furthermore, you have excellent skills in communication and stakeholder management on all levels, coupled with solid change management capability and strong negotiation skills..It is important that you can embrace change, enjoy an agile environment and have a continuous improvement mindset.
You have great business acumen and with the ability to prioritize to maximize value for the business. You are a self-driven executor, energic and appreciate to working with other great colleagues.
