REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Marketing / International Business / Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Brand and Product Marketing, preferably experience in FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge in strategic planning for assigned categories, including NPD and product lifecycle, marketing plan, forecasting and category management.
  • Exemplifies strong commercial acumen in market analysis, profitability analysis, and category development.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, result-oriented and problem solver.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Head of Marketing
  • Responsible for the overall Writing portfolio PnL, including growing market shares, sales and profits, increasing conversion and building user base – for both Domestic and Export markets.
  • Devise both short-term and long-term development strategies for Writing portfolio, including research, product development, pricing, marketing and communication plan, and mid/long-term sales.
  • Convert consumer & customer insights (voice of consumer) into product ideas/features that will drive brand growth.
  • Develop products using AGILE methodology to ensure speed to market.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the portfolio product lines to identify actions needed, i.e.: to discontinue poor-performing products, overlapping products, or products that require repositioning or re-launching, or pricing actions.
  • Responsible for ensuring all marketing campaigns and activities are built around our brand equity and overseeing all product launches and marketing activities, from ideation to execution and analysis of market trends and opportunities, competitor products and other relevant information in forming marketing strategies.
  • Develop a business case and own the business plan for Writing a portfolio and integrate this into departmental budgetary planning and control.
  • Build up strong analytics capability.
  • Provide leadership and develop a team of product managers to sharpen their marketing capabilities.
