Responsibilities:

INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR THE ROLE OF THE CATEGORY PLANNING – ASSISTANT MANAGER - ENGLISH - ON SITE KATOWICE!

The Foods Category Planning Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that service, cost and cash are balanced across the whole Foods Category in Europe. Together with the Category Planning manager for PTG WET the junior planning manager is responsible for the delivery of these planning KPI’s across the E2E WET network. The purpose of the role is to:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate service, inventory and costs by managing seasons and events in the WET supply chain with the planning teams from the SU’s and MSO’s.
  • Drive continuous improvements within the network. Taking an end-to-end perspective and working together with Procurement, Logistics, Planning and the business partners in Marketing and Sales.
  • Lead and/or support SC optimisation projects.
  • Work with and manage virtual teams in the SUs and MSOs to deliver the category Supply Chain targets in terms of Service, Cost and Cash.
  • Lead and support SC improvements, by providing intelligence and planning expertise in all areas of customer service, stock management, OR improvement, best WoW on key processes like event management and end-to-end SC synchronization.
  • Support mid/longer term network studies and volume rebalancing to drive responsiveness and cost competitiveness.
