ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a quality leader with a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processed in tobacco, food, beverage or similar products, technology, and quality, with at least 4-5 years of experience. It´s crucial that you understand how to manage quality in a way that puts the consumer first, along with knowledge of supply chains, process design, and standards management. Experience with continuous improvement and product testing is key, as is familiarity with various quality management systems and protocols.
You have solid knowledge of quality management principles and experience in designing new processes and standards. Proficiency in ERP systems is important, similar to experience in using CI tools, alongside strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and communicate effectively. You should be comfortable working across different functions and projects, with the flexibility to adapt and learn quickly. Fluency in both Swedish and English is essential, as is the ability to manage relationships effectively. We’re looking for someone who’s driven, can work independently, and is focused on achieving results.
You will lead the quality performance and Q control team and support the teams´ development and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

In the role as Category Quality manager, you will lead, drive, and coordinate quality activities in the team to meet our consumers´ requirements and align with company objectives. Manage the quality performance department, set objectives, oversee performance, and ensure the achievement of planned targets and KPIs. Direct shop floor quality standards, lab testing, and product release processes, ensuring adherence to inspection plans and quality assurance protocols. Lead end-to-end quality management to guarantee product quality in line with consumer expectations. Drives continuous improvement initiatives for processes and products, contributing timely insights and recommendations to enhance overall product quality within the business context.

In your role as Category Quality manager, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Development and performance of quality performance & Q control team
  • Ensuring product compliance with specifications and legal requirements
  • Oversee and deliver results on set KPIs, projects and initiatives
  • Leading & supporting continuous improvement of products and processes
  • Introducing new processes and equipment in line with company priorities and strategy
  • Overseeing and driving continuous improvement projects
  • Leading periodic process capability reviews and improvements
  • Leading internal and external audits and compliance activities
  • Technical expert of category
  • Represent the factory and category in Global & local forums
  • Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.
