ABOUT YOU:

  • Previous experience working as a Cook/Chef and possess relevant qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills with proven success managing, mentoring and coaching a large team in a busy environment
  • Qualification as a Food Safety Supervisor and working knowledge of OHS standards
  • Experience working within Aged Care desirable not essential.

Responsibilities:

Summary of the role: Catering and Housekeeping Manager for Residential Aged Care home, which involes supporting the household model with fresh nutritious meals and having an oversight of the commercial laundry and housekeeping team. Looking for a strong manager to lead the team of cooks, laundry staff and cleaner. A Catering Manager is required to cook for 4 days /week and complete administrative tasks for 1 day per week.
