We’d like you to join us as a Catering Assistant at our service Frenchay in Bristol.
Our catering service provides a 4 week patient menu, using a cook/freeze food system. This post also involves providing Housekeeping cover when required
Frenchay has 52 bedrooms split across two units along with 2 independent flats, we specialise in the treatment of patients with complex physical and cognitive impairments, challenging behaviours and neuropsychiatric disorders resulting from a brain injury. We offer comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation and therapy, our facilities include accessible therapy kitchens, hydrotherapy pool, two gymnasiums and five large day rooms, three with direct garden access.

What you’ll be working:*
Weekend Work
Part-Time 15 hours per week
Saturday - 7.5 hours
Sunday - 7.5 hours

We are looking for a motivated person who has experience in catering and the preparation, re-heating, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
The successful candidate will have experience of food presentation, storing food products, relevant record keeping, be patient focused, possess high food and safety standards, have excellent communication skills, have a flexible and adaptable approach and work well within a team. The successful candidate will work in our two on site kitchens. Ideally you will have worked in a patient environment and possess good inter-personal skills with patients and relatives. The post involves providing housekeeping cover when required.
