Catering Assistant - Curtin

RSL LifeCare is looking for Catering Assistants for our 115 bed aged care home Fred Ward Gardens - Curtin.

Casual and Part-time positions available:

• Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm and 3:30pm - 7:30pm
• Sunday 3:30PM to 7:30PM

As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring high standard of food service to our residential aged care home. You will work alongside the care and support team to ensure that residents receive the highest quality in dining experience each time they receive meals.

Ideally you will have:

• Experience as a Kitchen hand in an aged care setting/ commercial kitchen or similar hospitality experience
• Experience in following a comprehensive schedule and procedures
• An understanding of how to maintain a OH&S safe & clean environment for resident, staff and visitors
• Willing to work in a rotating roster

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
