Description:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Experience working in the team and catering or hospitality.
- Basic kitchen skills.
- Interest in the cuisine and furthering knowledge of food.
- Level 2 Certificate in Food Hygiene.
- Ability to read and implement instructions, such as Health and Safety, and Food Hygiene Regulations.
- Able to use and clean machinery and light equipment.
- Able to learn new skills and follow instructions.
- Able to encourage children to select a balanced meal.
- Able to communicate with kitchen staff, school staff and children.
- Able to work on own and within the team.
- Display and maintain high standard of personal hygiene.
- Work effectively in a busy environment.
Salary: £26,238 pro rata. Actual Salary: £12,524.64
