Responsibilities:
We are seeking for a Catering Supervisor to join the Catering team. The role will report to the Catering Manager. The successful candidate will focus on delivering the catering of Pantry,Restaurant and Patient Service. The role operates within a fast paced environment focusing on controlling and monitoring HACCP safety requirements, assisting with inputting data, invoicing, surveys, rosters, training and managing the team. This is a permanent contract. Full time.
The role holder will be expected to:
- Manage the department ensuring that is run efficiently and professionally.
- Train staff to comply with HACCP, and infection control. And adhere to EHO requirements and respond to any feedback in timely manner.
- Maintain a clean environment at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and record activity, minimise wastage and order as require.
- Monitor the HACCP system in place and check it is operating effectively, (audit).
- Train new staff as required
- Deal with complaints efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor the quality and feedback of patients.
- Participate in and comply with requirements of Accreditation process and other quality improvement initiatives.
