Catering Supervisor

To provide operational support to the Management team to ensure the agreed service levels are consistently achieved, To understand and practice good food hygiene principles in accordance with the Food Hygiene Regulations. To ensure effective running of the Catering Quality Systems. To ensure work is carried out in compliance with agreed Health & Safety Standards. To provide job leadership and guidance for all staff responsible for food services.
To carry out daily quality checks aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and carry out customer care training for all staff. To ensure that all staff employed on food service show due diligence in their food handling practices, and carry out their duties within the requirements of current legislation. To ensure premises are left to the agreed level of cleanliness, and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times, along with HACCP Systems. To attend meetings as required.
To take personal responsibility for the quality of the service provided and to contribute toward and support service improvements. To monitor, review and implement appropriate staff training. STAFF SUPERVISION Ensure that supervisory activities throughout the Department comply with requirements of Investors in People, Improving Working Lives and Trust policies and procedures
