The Job
The Company
One of my newest clients in Manchester is now looking for CDM Consultant to join their Building Services team. The company is a leading international, independent real estate consultancy. They work with owners, occupiers, developers and funders, across both private and public sectors, to help them get more out of their real estate, at every stage of the property life cycle. The company has been established over 30 years ago and is has got now a skilled team of engineers, surveyors, technical specialists, consultants and project managers operating across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
The Role

Responsibilities for the CDM Consultant/Health and Safety Consultant

  • Deal with a full range of health and safety service instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, residential, retail and industrial
  • Deliver Health and safety service projects to job manager level competency as Principal Designer, CDM Advisor and Advisor to the Principal Designer
  • Undertake Construction Site Safety Inspections.
  • Meet target KPIs on work in progress (WIP) management including hours into work in progress (HIW), Lock-up, Write-off and Gross profit.
  • Assist with service business development.
  • Adherence to Health & Safety procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

Requirements for the role of CDM Consultant within Property Management

  • 3 years’ experience in CDM/Health and Safety related role such as Principal Designer or CDM Consultant
  • Experience in working on commercial construction projects, particularly in the office and industrial sectors.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • TechIOSH RICS, RIBA, ICIOB or APS accreditation desirable
