Description:

RAC Auto Services currently own and operate 10 automotive service centers across the metro area from Mandurah through to Joondalup. We have two opportunities for a new manager to join the business and lead our teams in either Bentley or Balcatta Auto Service Centres.
What will you be doing?
You strive to grow and develop the overall operational performance of the automotive centre in line with our Auto Services strategic plan. In addition, you lead a small professional team of Service Advisors’, Team Leader (Workshop Foreman) and Detailer/Driver.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of the Centre’s performance including: staff performance and engagement, revenue and profitability, quality assurance and compliance management
  • Providing customer and member service excellence and be the point of escalation to resolve member enquiries
  • Review, recommend and implement operational improvements to ensure efficient operations
  • Participation in retention, recruitment and selection activities
  • Optimisation and growth of the existing client base
  • Management and monitoring of health, safety and environment compliance
  • Career development and performance support for staff in accordance with RAC policies and procedures

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
What are we looking for in you?

Having previous automotive industry experience, you will combine your supportive leadership style demonstrating:

  • Experience coaching and developing staff in a highly engaged environment
  • A sound level of sales and business acumen and proven experience growing an existing client base
  • A high level of both written and verbal communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
  • Well-developed organisational and planning skills, along with an ability to multi-task
