We are excited to offer the role of Supply Planning Manager.
Reporting into the Group Head of Supply Planning, this role is responsible for the planning and scheduling of Blackmores inhouse manufacturing facility in Braeside, Vic, as well as our portfolio of contract manufacturers. Leading a team of up to 9 direct reports, this role will ensure our supply plan is sufficient and highly responsive, cost effective and delivers excellent service to our customers and consumers. You will play a critical role in maximising the efficiency of our supply chain, driving meaningful change and shaping the future direction of how we produce our industry leading products.
This role can be based in either Melbourne (Braeside) or Sydney (Surry Hills or Warriewood).
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Supply Planning team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Lead the delivery of an optimised supply plan which meets customer demand while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
- Lead the delivery of a robust production plan that aligns with customer demand and production capacity.
- Develop strong relationships with other departments across the Group Operations
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels to enhance overall operational efficiency and collaboration.
- Manage inventory levels in accordance with Inventory Policy and target stock turns, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the planning system.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiencies and quality.
- Facilitate integration meetings within the IBP cycle to drive cross-functional alignment throughout Group Operations
- Ensure supply plans are aligned to the overall business objectives.
