Description:

SUMMARY:

The focus of this position is to provide excellent customer service, take the initiative, be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Must also maintain professionalism, be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities and remain composed under the pressure of deadlines. Under the guidance of the Centro Rendu Operations Manager, ensure compliance, systems optimization and data integrity. The position interacts daily with SVDP departments, as well as with external individuals including families. This role is also responsible for tracking and ensuring projects, and deliverables are met, completed on time and within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; however, other duties may be assigned:

  • Perform administrative duties such as managing correspondence, answering phones, scheduling meetings and coordinating staff schedules, and maintaining office space.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems to ensure efficient retrieval of information.
  • Support the team with data entry, document preparation, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Help streamline and improve systems such as the use of our Charity Tracker database.
  • Responsible for accurate data reports. Reviews outcome data and makes adjustments as by requested Centro Rendu Operations Manager.
  • Works with Centro Rendu Operations Manager to ensure data is entered accurately and completely, including updates. Develops and continually improves Centru Rendu operational processes.
  • Maintains required paperwork and confidential records for individual student files and other necessary records in an accurate, complete and timely manner.
  • Handle the daily administration of Centro Rendu program applications and operations schedule.
  • Ensure all audit requirements are met, staff have consistent Policies & Procedures and are followed.
  • Maintains and monitors Centro Rendu expenses.
  • Reviews Centro Rendu’s systems and processes for efficiencies and compliance. Make recommendation as needed.
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings in-service opportunities, workshops, and other training seminars. Engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Maintains knowledge of research, developments, and best practices in education.
  • Work with the proper attitude that exemplifies the Society’s Statement of Values.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelors in Business or related field or AA with 3 years of related work or volunteer experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Uses compassionate and reflective listening strategies. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and work with people from a variety of backgrounds. Excellent communication skills; strong written and interpersonal skills

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Maps and internet searches required. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is an advantage.
