As CEO of Resources Safety & Health Queensland, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective administration and operation of the organisation, guiding towards excellence in safeguarding the wellbeing of workers across Queensland’s dynamic resources industries. With a focus on advising the Minister, managing vertical, organisational units, and administering key legislation, your visionary leadership will drive cultural change and foster collaboration between RSHQ, government, industry and communities. Key to your success will be building and maintaining crucial relationships, both internally with the Minister’s office and RSHQ Board and externally with industry stakeholders and government agencies. Your decision-making skills, reporting directly to the Minister, and oversight of a significant operating budget and team of over 400 staff will be instrumental in shaping the future of workplace safety in Queensland.
