Our client, a leading player in the Bioeconomy sector, renowned for their innovative solutions and unwavering commitment to sustainability, is currently seeking a dynamic and seasoned Commercial Business Leader for a Global Business unit, based in Singapore.
Reporting directly to the President, this role will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for the entire global business unit with complete P&L management and direct oversight of manufacturing plants, supply chains, commercial and finance operations.
The candidate will possess a strategic mindset, adept at executing decisive actions at both micro and macro levels, enhancing production assets and supply chains, and propelling business expansion into new territories and markets.
The role is a cornerstone for a visionary business executive, poised to amplify business development and deepen market reach through strategic joint venture (JV) and merger and acquisition (M&A) initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree would be highly advantageous.
• Proven track record of successful business leadership, preferably within the specialty chemicals industry, particularly in areas such as Oleos / Surfactants / Emulsifiers / Lipids / Fats / Fatty Acids / Esters.
• Candidates with a background in Food ingredients/Nutraceuticals sectors, particularly in the application of oils & fats, will also be considered.
• Solid Business acumen with a demonstrated ability to drive business growth and profitability.
• Experience in managing complex supply chain networks, commercial operations, and production assets.
• Strong understanding of finance principles and P&L management.
