REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Anesthesia Tech credentialed from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians/Technologists (ASATT) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Provide daily coordination of equipment, supplies and personnel to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.

• Organize and evaluate the work of assigned anesthesia service associates.
• Provide oversight of daily equipment maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Assist with the training and scheduling of staff.
• Coordinate and/or perform administrative duties specific to the unit including billing processing, scheduling, ordering supplies and responding to external inquiries.
• Assist the department manager with payroll, scheduling, education of department staff, budget and other duties as assigned.
