Description:
Are you looking to grow your leadership skills within a close knit environment?
We are currently working with a well established, community focused centre, based in Manurewa who are looking for a fantastic Centre Supervisor to hit the ground running. You will provide leadership, guidance and support to the team and the Tamariki.
As a Centre Supervisor you will be working alongside the Operations Manager working with rosters, budgets, marketing with a mixture of contact and non contact time.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a passion for children and their learning outcomes. You will have experience leading a team, be empathetic and be able to engage with all walks of life. Head Teachers are welcomed to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day to day operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Ensure the development and implementation of the centre’s curriculum, ensuring that it is engaging, developmentally appropriate, and reflects Te Whāriki and the centres philosophy and values
Build relationships with educators, families and children, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment.Lead and support the professional development of the educators, providing ongoing feedback and training as needed.
Key Requirements
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki Curriculum
Understanding of the Early Childhood Professional Growth CycleAttention to detail and strong organization skills to deliver
