Within the CFM Support in Airbus Hamburg, technicians perform maintenance tasks to ensure the delivery of engines and aircraft according to the Airbus schedule. This work is carried out in compliance with current regulations to satisfy our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Respect and use the work documentation (Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Service Bulletin Application and Internal Work Instruction).
  • Perform any required unscheduled maintenance tasks (replacement of the Line Replaceable Unit, replacement of parts, engine boroscopy, inspection, troubleshooting, etc.).
  • Perform standard tasks.
  • Adhere to safety rules (wear protective gear; perform 5S inspection; etc…).
  • Record all interventions/tasks within information systems (CFM & Airbus Systems).
  • Contribute to product and service improvement: identify/capture risks, deviations, improvement’s opportunities; propose correctives actions and improvement paths; identify the occurrence of major events.

Organization:

For these activities, you will:

  • Report to your direct manager: the Mechanical and Logistical Operations Manager.
  • Be on shift with the possibility of being on call during weekends (on a voluntary basis).
  • Be part of a mechanics team and work with other CFM team’s members (logistician, quality, airframer support engineer, safety, and methods).
