CFO - Chief Financial Officer

Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an interim CFO for a local non-profit organization. The interim CFO will support the organization during the current CFO’s maternity leave. The role will be primarily focused on providing leadership to the current Accounting/Finance team (Controller, VP of Finance, Staff Accountant), helping the organization drive it’s annual audit to a close. The interim CFO must also be hands on and willing to support month-end close as well as other ad hoc projects as necessary. Prior experience in Accounting/Finance leadership roles within the non-profit sector is required. Role is expected to last 2-3 months and can work a hybrid schedule with 2 days in office (downtown Columbus) and 3 days remote.

• 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, including at leadership levels (Controller, CFO, VP/Director of Finance)
• Must have prior experience within the non-profit sector
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong grasp of non-profit accounting fundamentals (fund accounting, grants, 990s, month-end close, audit support)
• Experience working with external auditors in a non-profit environment
