The role of the CFO is pivotal for establishing the NewCo, driving growth, and creating a strong market presence. It will be necessary to combine a deep understanding of corporate finance principles as well as target sectors with the agility to adapt strategies as the company evolves.
This role demands strategic thinking, problem-solving and leadership skills, and the ability to drive growth in a resource-constrained environment.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CPA qualification preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in relevant finance roles
- Proven track record of corporate finance
- Expertise in preparing successful IPOs brings added value
- Track record in investor relations is a plus, professional stakeholder and/ or shareholder management
- Specialized knowledge and experience in at least one of the target sectors,e.g. engineering, energy, electrical power cement, refining, chemical, metallurgical or agricultural industries
- Develop a clear understanding of the NewCo goals and vision
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial modelling techniques relevant to the specified sectors
- The ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights is essential
- This includes measuring financial performance, tracking key metrics, andadjusting strategies based on real-time results
- In-depth knowledge of European financial regulations, IPO requirements, and industry-specific regulations in energy, electrical power, and agriculture
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, drive results, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence
Business fluency in German and English is a must (other language skills are an advantage for upcoming expansion
