About this role:
Our client is a leading utilities company in Australia, committed to delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions. As part of their continuous improvement initiatives, they are deploying a works management system to over 1,000 staff over the next 6 months. They are seeking a dynamic and organised Change Analyst to join their Change and Training team. In this critical role, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for coordinating, preparing, and supporting end users during the implementation of their new works management system. Your focus will encompass all aspects of change delivery, including organisation, planning, end-user support, communications, and engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project team to provide comprehensive support during the implementation and embedding phases
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing training and change delivery activities
  • Plan, schedule, and book training and engagement sessions at various depots aligned with the roll-out timelines
  • Manage all logistics for delivery, ensuring smooth coordination with project and planning teams
  • Update and adapt training and support documentation to reflect system enhancements and audience requirements
  • Develop materials such as PowerPoint presentations, e-learning modules, classroom training guides, and reference materials
  • Provide support to End Users and Super Users on MS Teams and in-person throughout the learning and adoption phases
  • Act as a point of contact for user inquiries and issues, facilitating a smooth transition to the new system and processes
  • Arrange, prepare, and chair meetings and workshops related to training and change delivery
  • Record actions and coordinate follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar change analyst/manager role on a systems/technology transformation program
  • Experience in a similar industry preferred / exposure to industrial-relations environment
  • Experience of coaching and building capability within impacted business areas – particularly at a grass roots level
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced project, deadline-driven project team
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting users in transitioning to new systems and processes via L&D
  • Ability to travel (and on occasion, stay overnight) in Newcastle and Central Coast
  • Drivers License required
