JOB DESCRIPTION - CHANGE MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR – STRATEGIC INITIATIVES

The Change Management Director for Strategic Initiatives will have a high degree of influence, partnering with executives and their leadership teams on change management initiatives that directly contribute to key Operations priorities to ensure appropriate adoption.

  • Create change management strategies based on assessment of the impact of the change and impacted work groups.
  • Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders influencing decisions in line with business unit and enterprise strategy.
  • Shares appropriate industry and company analyses to achieve strategic insight.
  • Builds end to end engagement plans with deliverables/dates that enable change and increase knowledge as well as build adoption.
  • Demonstrate value of change management and build change management capability of Operations leaders, helping them understand how change initiatives may intersect to increase opportunities to connect the dots for target audiences independently.
  • Partner with Change Management Portfolio Lead to develop communication plans, ensure communications are appropriately executed and teams have materials necessary for desired adoption.
  • Dedicated to 1-2 large scale strategic priorities and flexible based on priorities.
  • Develop broad change plan for sponsor and stakeholders to manage change effectively (i.e. Processes, workflow, automation, reskilling/staffing)
  • Proactively communicate barriers /potential risks and ideas to mitigate
  • Significantly contribute to “community of practice” through thought leadership and consultation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Ten or more years of experience, including leadership of large, complex programs/initiatives with high impact

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to lead and connect change management initiatives across operational business areas
  • Technically proficient in change management strategies, building engagement and creating change management plans
  • Change management certification (Prosci) preferred
  • Executive level communication, influence, and leadership skills
  • Expert level relationship management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience leading change management in a large matrixed organization
  • Experience developing feedback loops to engage employees
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage strategic sourcing in a service oriented environment
  • Familiarity with resource management, workforce management & productivity planning
  • Banking and/or financial services experience
    The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
