EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer information systems, management or similar fields is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 – 5 years of direct or indirect involvement in change management.
  • Acted as the main coordinator within the process and ensured overall quality of the Change Management process.
  • Contributed to successful change execution for both customer and IT organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide change execution within their functional area.
  • Act as a change leader in the organization.
  • Receive and prioritize logs for all RFCs.
  • Reject unnecessary RFCs.
  • Table RFCs for CAB meetings.
  • Assist in forming meeting agendas.
  • Create and manage runbooks for Release activities.
  • Coordinate Change implementation with relevant parties.
  • Ensure compliance with schedules for Pre-Authorized and Normal Changes.
  • Review and approve changes and releases.
  • Verify that implemented changes meet objectives.
  • Request Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) for failed changes.
  • Prevent collisions between Releases.
  • Own and manage PIRs for failed changes.
  • Utilize ITSM Change Management tool for RFC review.
  • Work with vested stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching and education as needed.
  • Collaborate with Release Assignees and Owners.
  • Supervise “Change and Release” management based on ITIL best practices.
  • Provide implementation and post-implementation support.
  • Participate in Quality Review Boards and User Group Forums.
  • Challenge the status quo.
  • Generate weekly client reports.
  • Provide monthly reports on failed changes and compliance.
  • Obtain CAB approval for releases.
  • Train LOBs on quality concerns and processes.
  • Determine Emergency Change requirements.
  • Escalate late release submissions and evaluate acceptance at CAB.
