We are currently looking for a Channel and Category Development Manager for our Grocery channel on an 8-month Fixed Term contract. This role reports to the Head of Category & RGM ANZ. It will give you an opportunity to drive the commercial strategy agenda and outcomes of our grocery channel, by engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll analyse data, drive innovation projects, and challenge norms to achieve optimal outcomes for Danone and its customers.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Category Strategy – drive the category vision and strategy agenda across grocery, from portfolio innovation through to range review excellence through in-depth insights
  • Channel Development – build strong partnerships with priority retailers across Australia through exceptional communication, data and insight led recommendations and collaborative initiatives
  • Revenue Management - Lead promotional review and strategy for portfolio responsibilities whilst closely monitoring market & category dynamics.
  • 4P plan-Lead and execute the 4P Strategy across priority, placement, price & promo.
  • Business Planning & Monitoring – Partner cross- functionally with internal teams to analyse the performance of our plans across categories in grocery. Build assumptions for business cases with key stakeholders representing the channel & customer perspective.
