POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a passionate and proven Channel and Partnerships Marketing Manager to support our global Channel Partners with effective marketing in driving awareness, engagement, and demand for our partner business and solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator who can work with key stakeholders internally and within the partners to drive the marketing strategy and achieve business results. This individual will have experience working with Channel Partners in the technology space and be familiar with strategies for marketing to, through and with partners. The individual will be an active participant in developing and driving the partnership and recommending marketing strategies and programs that deliver value to our shared customers.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related area.
  • 5+ years of global partner marketing experience.
  • Solid experience executing channel marketing strategies across diverse channels (resellers, VARs, alliance partners) with a proven track record of success in driving leads, revenue, and market share through partner programs.
  • Experience executing with B2B partners and their customer audiences.
  • Experience in both scaling large companies and fast growth startups is preferred.
  • Results-driven and customer-focused team player that understands what is required to gain preference and win in the marketplace.
  • Ability to define marketing objectives, execute integrated campaigns, and track and evaluate results.
  • Must have exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Experienced in collaborating and communicating with senior executives.
  • Track-record of successful collaboration with customers, sales organizations, partners, and internal stakeholder organizations.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues and cross-functional team members (managing upwards and sideways).
  • Adept at looking around corners and anticipating needs of partners and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of partner ecosystems, including GSI and SI models
  • Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and demonstrate good judgment.
  • Strategic and creative thinker who can deliver results consistently.
  • Willing to travel as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate channel marketing plans, programs, and campaigns with the goals of generating leads, acquiring new clients, and expanding market share.
  • Drive all asset and collateral generation to highlight benefits of CYPHER Learning solutions and partner integrations, including presentations, solutions briefs, case studies, sales tools, and webinars. You make cool stuff that our channel partners want to use to drive their own growth!
  • Provide strategic direction in the CYPHER Learning product launch process as the channel partner stakeholder lead, including collaboration in launch plans and content.
  • Create campaign strategies promoting CYPHER Learning solutions and partner integrations with and through our channel partners.
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of CYPHER Learning solutions and integrations to the channel partner sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process.
  • Discover and drive opportunities to collaborate with partner marketing counterparts to deliver mutually successful programs.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop the strategy, focus, growth marketing strategies to drive revenue to, though, and with our Channel Partners.
  • Establish channel-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), evaluate and report on the impact of campaigns, plans and programs in achieving their stated objectives.
  • Ensure that value-add content is up-to-date and relevant for audiences in the assigned channel and generate ideas for new content as industry dynamics and the needs of the channel change.
  • Partner with internal/eternal design team to assure that required presentations and print collateral materials are available for use in marketing campaigns and programs.
  • Write creative briefs and work with the content and design teams to develop ideas for, draft and create new sales support pieces for the channel to use with existing / prospective clients.
  • Facilitate with existing or prospective clients, as requested by channel leadership.
  • Own joint go-to-market marketing strategy with partners. This includes marketing to the partner and with the partner to end users.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on partner marketing program’s performance metrics and provide strategic direction and guidance based on analysis of results.
