This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with directly with senior product stakeholder to utilise customer data, systems, processes, and colleague expertise to better meet our customers’ needs and deepen customer relationships. The role offers great exposure and the chance to collaborate across the group, developing and executing data driven marketing strategies that deliver real value for our customers. You will also get to work directly with some of the biggest companies in the world like Google, Meta and LinkedIn.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT?

We are looking for someone with proven working experience in Digital Marketing/Marketing/Customer Relationship Management team with a track record in developing and acting on data driven insights to drive commercial outcomes.
You will have a strong customer focus, with a key understanding of how to drive trade and deliver on KPI’s alongside influencing and relationship building skills. You will have the capability to establish constructive and collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders and the flexibility to operate effectively in a matrix environment.
With excellent presentation and communication skills, you will be able to deliver compelling, well-structured arguments and articulate ideas, concepts to senior stakeholders and be confident in owning and delivering campaigns end to end, delivering on time.

On a more technical level we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Plan and execute data driven multichannel digital sales strategies across digital paid (SEM, display, social, Video etc) and owned channels (digital App, email / SEO, branch & call centre).
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize monthly media spend and performance and present KPI tracking reports at weekly trading meetings with clear insights and actions to maximise sales.
  • Use data driven insights from mixed media modelling, build KPI dashboards for campaigns to ensure commercial objectives are met and continuous campaign optimisation / testing is maintained. Develop data driven testing hypothesis to target different customer cohorts to drive incremental conversions and optimise media spend.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points and work closely with teams across the Bank of Ireland Group to deliver on common growth and communication KPI’s - e.g., Retail Ireland’s Home Buying team or Everyday Banking. Collaborating with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Brief media agency on KPIs to ensure the channel plan is optimised, the targets are delivered, and efficiencies are realised on media spend.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
