Description:

CHANNEL SALES REPRESENTATIVE – PARTNER ONBOARDING

Push the boundaries of tech. In your sweatpants.
We’re looking for an experienced Channel Sales Representative to help us change the way the world works. Here, you’ll be responsible for partner identification and recruitment.

The top creative and technical minds could work anywhere. So why are so many of them choosing Alludo? Here are three reasons:

  • This is the moment. It’s an exciting time at Alludo, with strong leadership, a refreshed brand (you probably know us as Corel!), and a whole new approach to changing the way the world works. We’re at the forefront of a movement, and we want you to ride this wave with us.
  • We want you to be you. Too often, companies tell you about their culture and then expect you to fit it. Our culture is built from the people who work here. We want you to feel safe to be who you are, take risks, and show us what you’ve got.
  • It’s your world. We know you have a life. We want to be part of it, but not all of it. At Alludo, we’re serious about empowering people to work when, how, and where they want. Couch? Sweatpants? Cool with us. We believe that happy employees mean happy customers. That’s why we hire amazing people and get out of their way.

Sound good so far? Awesome. Let’s talk more about the Channel Sales Representative role and see if we’re destined to be together.

As a Channel Sales Representative, you will:

  • Lead Partner Identification and Recruitment: Identify potential partners through market research, referrals, and networking. Evaluate their suitability based on criteria such as industry alignment, target market, and capabilities.
  • Lead Partner Onboarding: Guide partners through the onboarding process, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our company’s products, services, and value proposition. Provide training and resources to enable partners to effectively represent our offerings.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with partners, acting as their main point of contact. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address partner needs, resolve issues, and ensure a positive partner experience.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip partners with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively sell our products and services. Conduct regular training sessions, webinars, and workshops to enhance partner knowledge and sales skills.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor partner performance, track sales metrics, and provide regular reports to management. Identify areas for improvement and work with partners to develop strategies to drive sales growth.

What YOU bring to the table:

  • Sales Experience: Previous experience in channel sales or partner management for 5 plus years. This includes a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful relationships with channel partners.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with channel partners are key. This includes being able to collaborate effectively, negotiate mutually beneficial agreements, and resolve conflicts if they arise.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with partners and conveying the value proposition of the company’s products or services. The ability to present information clearly and persuasively is crucial, as is the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners.
  • Ability to understand partner needs and align them with our company’s offerings.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills to drive partner engagement and achieve sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitor landscape.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry in which the company operates is important. This includes understanding the market landscape, competitors, and trends that may impact partner onboarding and sales strategies.
  • Organizational Skills: The Channel Sales Representative must be able to manage multiple partner relationships simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills are important for success in this role.
