Reporting to the Director of Talent, Inclusion, and People Capability, the position can be located in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Responsibilities:

This newly created leadership role has dual responsibilities. The position will lead our established Executive Talent team, who maintain robust talent and succession pipelines and support the ongoing development of our top 120 executives. In addition, we are seeking a thought leader who can evolve our leadership capability strategy to ensure our leaders at all levels are supported to activate our Purpose and grow their leadership skills.
With a new Group CEO starting in September, this is an exciting and pivotal time to join in a position that directly provides strategic counsel to the CEO, Chief People Officer and broader Executive Committee.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Proactively identify, engage, develop and mobilise, a world class Executive and Senior Leader talent pipeline with the skills we need now and for the future.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless experience for the Group Executive Team throughout their journey, from search and selection to onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Evolve and strengthen our in-house Executive Search capabilities, exploring solutions, including AI powered services, to drive high impact pipelining and conversion.
  • Build trusted relationships with the Group Executive team and People Partners to manage the critical talent segment of executive leaders, providing insights, recommendations, and support for their accelerated development and internal mobility.
  • In partnership with the CPO and Group Executive Committee refine and develop approaches and cadences that strengthen the sense of community amongst the Group Executive Team.
  • Establish principles and partnerships for strengthening team effectiveness. Make recommendations on vendor and team effectiveness program design.
  • Use modern approaches, data, insights, and stakeholder engagement to create frameworks and tools that provide clarity and support for leadership development across the Group.Leverage and evolve a suite of assessment and development approaches and maintain external partnerships to drive insight and action to strengthen team and individual effectiveness.
