You will have:

Ability to demonstrate advanced leadership skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving and service improvement.

• You will have Registration with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board under the Sonographer scope of practice and hold a current annual practising certificate.
• 5-10 years post registration experience and with an ability to work at an advanced clinical level of practice
• Post Graduate Diploma of Medical Ultrasound / Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound (or equivalent) qualification recognised by MRT Board for registration

• Providing clinical and operational leadership and management functions for the Cardiac Sonographers and trainees
• Providing professional leadership in collaboration with the Allied Health Director
• Modelling and providing senior/advanced clinical practice in accordance with clinical scope of practice, code of ethics and standards of practice
• Driving key quality improvements and initiatives in the service, ensuring implementation of evidence based practice
• Collaborating with other regional centres
• This senior role is ideally suited to a person with energy, enthusiasm and initiative, you will need to be able to demonstrate advanced leadership skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving and service improvement. You will be registered with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board under the Sonographer scope of practice and hold a current annual practising certificate (or be eligible for the same)
