People’s Partnership have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Charitable Trust Claims Specialist.
This role is a hybrid opportunity with the successful candidate working both at home and in the office.
Main Purpose:
The Charitable Trust Claims Specialist will be responsible for processing business to business charitable funding applications as well as individual, often complex charitable claims. Apply Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) culture and principles, together with the organisation’s values, within area of responsibility.
Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent experience
- Relevant work experience, including experience in processing financial or charitable claim requests.
- Experience of dealing with people in distress or in crisis with a proven track record of providing practical, long-term solutions.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet Explorer and Windows Operating System.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
Excellent numeracy skills.
Strong organisational skills and time management
Desirable
- Ability to deal sensitively with enquiries and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Initiative and judgement to resolve day-to-day problems independently.
- Ability to assess complex cases and prioritise the needs of clients.
