Dorset HealthCare Charitable Fund exists to support and promote the wellbeing of patients, volunteers, and NHS staff across Dorset. It manages and distributes funds on behalf of Dorset Healthcare University Foundation Trust.
We have ambitious plans to raise the profile of our charity over the coming years, and to develop a more proactive and impactful strategic approach to our fundraising and operating models. As the first member of staff dedicated to the Charity, the Charity Development Lead role is key to delivering on these.
The postholder will combine insight from their engagement with local leaders, with their own knowledge and experience in charity governance and fundraising, to guide and support the Trust in the growth of our charitable operations.
The Charity Development Lead will also lead in the development, implementation, and evaluation of several new fundraising initiatives.
This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.
