ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

- Retail experience to a supervisory level or more
- A commitment to providing an excellent customer experience
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
- Comply with our food control plan and health and safety programme
- NZ Driver’s License

Responsibilities:
As the Checkout Supervisor, you will be assisting and supporting the day-to-day running of the Checkouts Department, ensuring customers are at the for-front of every decision, supporting a talented and passionate team of over 50 individuals as well as assisting with rostering and meeting departmental KPI’s. Some of the key areas for the role will be:
- PEOPLE FOCUS – leading and collaborating with your team to manage the flow of customers. This will include providing support with ongoing trainings and being an excellent role model.
- RESULTS FOCUS – Able to communicate the goals and values of New World Papakura and upskilling team members to perform to their KPI’s.
- CO-OPERATIVE CULTURE – Personally upholds the stores values and builds strong relationships with fellow team members, and the wider Foodstuffs group.
