As our Chef de Cuisine in our In Room Dining operation, reporting to our Executive Sous Chef, you will be a natural leader in the kitchen and bring the best out of your team every day.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of our guests ensuring that every dish that leaves your kitchen is consistent and delicious.

Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for leading all aspects of team management
  • Participate in menu preparation and pricing policies
  • Develop training plans and conduct on-the-job training sessions
  • Ensure an open line of communication between the team, management and guests.
  • Attract and retain the right talent into the business.

What are we looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Chef with relevant industry qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience managing a lively and fast-paced team
  • Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full working rights to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week working varied shifts, including weekends, public holidays, late nights and early mornings
