Job Description
Have you graduated in Analytical Chemistry at HLO or University level and are you looking for a challenging laboratory position in a growing company? Then Eurofins PROXY Laboratories has an interesting vacancy for you as a Chemical Analyst within the Small Molecule Drugs team. In this team we mainly analyze finished products such as painkiller tablets, but sometimes also hormones and anti-parasitic veterinary medicines.

As a Chemical Analyst within the PROXY QC laboratory, your main responsibilities are:

  • Independently carrying out and reporting results of chemical analyzes of semi-finished and end products;
  • Applying various analysis techniques with a focus on HPLC, dissolution, Karl Fischer and atomic absorption spectroscopy;
  • Using working methods in accordance with international guidelines such as GMP, EP and USP;
  • Following (internal) training courses to keep your theoretical and practical knowledge up to date.

Good cooperation is very important within the Eurofins PROXY team and an informal working atmosphere is maintained. A BBQ, team outing, lab outing and other activities outside working hours are organized annually.
Qualifications

You aspire to a position as a Chemical Analyst in a QC environment. You are someone who works accurately and takes responsibility for carrying out daily work. You also meet the following requirements:

  • You have a diploma at HBO (practical university) or University level in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry / Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or a comparable course that makes you familiar with chemical analyses;
  • You are a starter or junior with 0-3 years of work experience;
  • Experience with the mentioned techniques is a plus (HPLC, dissolution, Karl Fischer and atomic absorption spectroscopy);
  • You are motivated and eager to learn and can quickly master new techniques;
  • You have preferably gained experience with instrumental analysis techniques during your internships or your first job, such as titrations, Karl Fischer, disintegration and other wet chemical techniques;
  • You preferably have experience working according to a quality system such as GMP, GLP or ISO-17025;
  • You are vigilant about the quality of your own work and that of your colleagues;
  • You have a good command of the English language, both written and oral. Dutch is an advantage;
  • You are able to work effectively both independently and in a team;
  • You are able to work under time pressure and can organize and plan your work independently.

In addition, you want to use your knowledge in this growing organization to improve the department together with your colleagues. You are efficient and want to streamline processes. In addition to intelligence and accuracy, this also requires social and communication skills.
