Job Description
Are you a highly skilled scientist with expertise in chemical and biological defense seeking an exciting opportunity? Join Red Gate Group as a Chemical/Biological Support Element Scientist/Instructor in Stuttgart, Germany, supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency TSG contract.
In this role, you’ll serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Chemical/Biological Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Programs of Instruction (POIs). Utilizing your advanced degree in a chemistry-related field, you’ll provide invaluable insights and assist with training to military and/or civilian personnel on the setup and operation of search gear and communications equipment and directly support search operations.
As a C/B Support Element Scientist/Instructor, you’ll specialize in the use of C/B search equipment, analytical gear, communications systems, and other mission-essential gear. Your responsibilities will include updating TTPs, SOPs, and POIs, maintaining proficiency on all C/B mission-essential equipment, and providing technical advice and assistance during WMD search operations.
Candidates for this role must hold an advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a chemistry-related field, possess strong communication skills, and be able to convey complex technical information effectively to diverse audiences. Experience in military reconnaissance operations and proficiency in analyzing C/B WMD data will be highly beneficial.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Must have an advanced degree (MS or higher) in chemistry or chemical engineering

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge in chemical and/or biological weapon design and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in chemical and/or biological weapons consequence management.
