JOB REQUIREMENTS
You are qualified for the position if you have:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry, preferably with emphasis on Analytical or Organic Chemistry.
- A few years of relevant work experience in analytical laboratory.
- Practical experience in analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, ICP, IC).
- Excellent attitude towards Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS).
- Team player mentality, high respect for people and understanding of the importance of a good working atmosphere.
- Problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and continuous learning attitude.
- Ability and willingness to work hands-on in the laboratory.
- Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills both in Finnish and in English.
- Good IT skills (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, SAP).
- Willingness to travel to some extent.
Desirable skills and background:
- Previous experience from working in process industry is an asset.

Responsibilities:
As a Chemist your main responsibilities will be:
- Planning, executing, and reporting of laboratory work.
- Development and validation of new and existing analysis methods.
- Equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Participating in analytical technology transfer in Finland and abroad.
- Acting as a proactive team member in global development projects.
- Scheduling and organizing day-to-day laboratory work for development projects.
- Supervising laboratory personnel in project setting.
- Continuous improvement in safety culture and day-to-day operations.
