THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE – WHY IS THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY?

The main purpose of the role is to assure the delivery of all accounting, compliance, financial and tax reporting processes in scope. Chief Accountant is a crucial role in ensuring statutory, tax and group reporting with appropriate quality and in accordance to deadlines. As Chief Accountant your responsibilities will include:

• Performing compliance & reporting tasks in line with defined processes and work instructions
• Executing Period-End tasks for assigned unit(s), performing reconciliation, and clearing of accounts, reporting actuals in reporting systems on timely manner and meeting quality targets
• Acting as subject matter expert for end-to end statutory processes, e.g., indirect tax filings, statutory financial statement preparation, direct tax, driving all statutory processes for assigned business area as per agreed timelines and scope, coordinating audit process for assigned entities
• Providing support to Financial Controller in the assigned controlling tasks
