JOB TITLE: CHIEF CLINICAL OFFICER

Contract: Permanent Full Time
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Direct Reports: Directors of Nursing x 6, General Manager x 1.
Purpose of Job: Our client is looking for a highly motivated Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to help build and lead operations. This position will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), providing key support to ongoing operations and oversight and ownership of the day-to-day operations of our seven Nursing Homes around Ireland. The COO will help maximise the operational efficiency of the group and will work across the organisation to ensure both its clinical and financial goals and regulatory requirements are met and exceeded.

EXPERIENCE:

• Extensive experience in managing a multisite healthcare environment, within a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in dealing with healthcare regulators.
• Be registered in the general division of the register of Nurses maintained by NMBI.
• Educated to Masters or Degree Level in either Healthcare/Business or related qualification would be desirable.
• Extensive experience of leading successful change in a patient centred care delivery environment.
• Experience of delivering high levels of productivity and efficiency.
• Demonstrates an understanding of financial management and control.
• Extensive knowledge of organisational management and development.
• Demonstrate a track record of positive team engagement.
