The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for spearheading the company’s growth through strategic partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions. The CDO will craft and execute a comprehensive growth strategy that aligns with our mission to expand our market presence, differentiate our business and be the nation’s leading musculoskeletal company.
This position can be done remotely but will require regular travel to our Headquarters in Louisville, KY.
Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in leading M&A transactions and business development initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in market analysis and valuation.
  • Successful track record in high-growth business; an execution-oriented practical and tactical thinker, with a high degree of personal accountability and results-driven mentality.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen business judgment and a track record of making sound decisions in complex situations. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.

  • The CDO will embody a leadership style that is collaborative, decisive, and transparent, with a strong emphasis on integrity and accountability.
  • Expected to lead by example, fostering a culture of customer obsession, inclusion, agility, and learning within the development team and across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with senior leadership and the board of directors to execute the current corporate strategic plan and develop additional plans to achieve company growth and revenue goals.
  • Ensures the performance, strategy, and alignment of the M&A team, health system partnership division, and growth committee.
  • Sets the overall strategy and direction for M&A opportunities to drive company growth and market expansion across the outpatient PT division, workplace solutions division, evidence in motion division, and moviHealth/innovations division.
  • Oversees our strategic partnerships strategy to increase and cultivate relationships with key partners such as health systems, provider organizations, and payers, fostering collaboration and business opportunities.
  • Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads for new Employer clients while also driving cross selling of enterprise services to existing clients.
  • Guides the growth committee to achieve goals for De novo & expansion of existing clinics.
  • Manages the enterprise sales team to drive business growth across all company segments to achieve and exceed sales targets, while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and values.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure business development strategies are integrated with company goals and operations.
  • Oversees the successful and timely integration of acquired companies and assets, ensuring alignment with corporate culture and values.
  • Collaborates with the finance, product management, and marketing teams on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models for achieving revenue goals.
