Our deliverables encompass Automation Architecture, Core Control Systems software, Human-Machine Interfaces, Embedded Electronics Solutions, Motor Controls, Inverter Technologies, as well as Sustainability, Reliability, and Connected Asset Intelligence. We leverage competencies in physics, measurement engineering, signal processing, electronics, and control theory, transforming them in a lean and agile manner into value-adding connected control systems, algorithms, machine features, and maintenance tools. This approach enables Konecranes to enhance our customers’ sustainability, safety, and efficiency.
To strengthen our Core Technology Development organization, we are looking for a Chief Engineer, who will be leading our Corporate High Perfomance Inverter Platform. In this role you will be a member of the Inverter Development Team, which develops and maintains inverter hardware and software for material handling.
The team is based in Finland, Hyvinkää and we expect you to visit the office potentially 2-3 days per week, but it goes without saying that hybrid worktype is a part of our modern ways of working.

Responsibilities:

As a Chief Engineer you will maintain inverter families, applications, and requirements. You will be responsible for quality KPIs and for gathering feedback from the Business units. You will work in cooperation with business stakeholders, vendors, procurement, supply operations, technical information and connected technologies departments.
